Quality is, therefore, a comprehensive concept in the meat processing industry. Sleegers is committed to improving the quality of its products continuously and ensuring optimal protection. Our QA (Quality Assurance) department focuses on this daily, along with everyone else at our company.
Meat products are perishable products. Our processes, systems and processes are, therefore, fully adapted to optimising hygiene and food safety and constantly being monitored. Naturally, Sleegers is certified at the highest level - just like all Van Loon Group companies.
Each year, we carry out a wide range of internal audits (including Hygiene, Order and Neatness / HON) and undergo many external audits. We also carry out thousands microbiological analyses each year, including raw materials, end products and process water.
Together with the other Van Loon Group Companies, Sleegers strives to make each step in the chain fully transparent. This makes the whole process (‘from farmer to plate’) clear to us, but also to our clients and ultimately the consumer. We always know exactly what the source of meat is. That offers a feeling of security.
Sleegers is SKAL and IFS Higher Level certified and has a number of Beter Leven Keurmerk certifications.
